Dedicated to sharing interesting news and innovations related to GE Smallworld GIS software. This blog is not related to, endorsed by or supported by General Electric.
I have been working with Smallworld products since 1996 and think there are many great things about them.
Since then I have worked for GE for 6 years and for partner companies the rest of the time. Since January 2009 I have been working for iFactor Consulting.
My main professional interests include:
Improving Smallworld implementation quality
Building Smallworld tools to make a customer's job easier
Finding new and innovative uses for Safe Software's FME tool
Contributing to the OpenStreetMap community and introducing its benefits to the Smallworld community.
Using Google Earth to get geographic data out to the masses
Finding GIS applications that help create a healthier world in which my family and future generations can live.
